Island Photo Place have been Hilton Head Beach photographers since 2003. Let us do your beach photography to preserve the golden days of your beach vacation on Hilton Head Island so you can keep your summertime memories for a lifetime. This moment in time will never come again.
We like to start your beach session about one hour before sunset, often called the "magic hour" by photographers to get that soft, golden light.
The session will take from 30 minutes up to approximately one hour.
We are open to your suggestions and ideas, so if you have any specific portrait in mind that you want us to make you are free to suggest it and we will do our best to accomplish it.
Our beach photography rate is the low price of $95.00.

Fun Photography with Hilton Head Beach Photographers
This is the question we hear a lot.
You definitely have options although classic khaki and white is probably the “safest” and always looks good on the beach.
Another combination of colors that comes out nice on the beach portraits is black and white (black tops and white bottoms or combination of both between family members).
Over the years we photographed some families who were very creative with their outfits. There is one I remember well because the outcome (images) came out exceptionally impressive. The adults were wearing khaki and white, but the kids had colorful matching outfits. In this case, the three little girls were wearing identical pink dresses.
Sometimes families don’t want to wear white and khaki (tired, always wearing the same). I suggest that everybody in the picture should wear similar colors or at least colors that go well together.
For larger groups all those colors may become cumbersome... These groups sometimes make an effort “for the occasion” and buy (or order) identical T-shirts. This is so cute!
When you are getting ready for beach portraits, it is important to think about your hair.
Guys, if you are thinking about getting a haircut – go for it before the beach session.
Girls, long hair and the wind do not go well together and we end up with hair flying all over, including covering your faces. Pins, pony tails, hair spray – those are the things I recommend. You can have that stuff with you and if it is not windy, just don’t use it.
These are just the tips. Usually whatever you wear will be all right as long as you bring with you good spirits and smiling faces.
To create the memories, it is important who is in the picture, not what everybody is wearing. If you want to make it perfect though or if you are thinking about a large, family portrait to hang over the mantel – make some effort to make it work and think about the details before we go to the beach with the cameras. Most important of all – have fun.Visit Hilton Head Wonderland when you plan your trip to Hilton Head Island
You find fun and interesting information about where to stay, what to do and a lot more. Highly Recommended!
We just wanted to drop you a note to say how pleased we were with the photos you took of our family while in Hilton Head.
We found it quite easy to set up a time for the photo shoot, felt like you took more than enough photos for us to choose from and we were well satisfied with the quality of the photos we received from the order we placed.
We were also pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were able to view our photos on line.
Hilton Head has always been a special place for our family and now that we have our first grandchild it is so nice to have these memories captured through the photos you took.
Thank you for your professionalism.
Very truly yours,
Betty and Vernon Schreiner
